Introduction

This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may or may not be provided for services delivered by Campus Connect NSW RPL. By engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

Campus Connect NSW RPL operates as an independent third-party consultancy agency that provides administrative and documentation support services for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) applications. We are not a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), we do not deliver training, and we do not issue nationally recognised qualifications.

Nature of Our Services

Our fees cover consultancy, document preparation, portfolio development assistance, administrative coordination, and referral services to Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). Payment is made for our time, expertise, and administrative work involved in supporting your RPL application process.

We do not assess competencies, make qualification decisions, or control assessment outcomes. All final decisions regarding RPL approval, additional evidence requirements, competency gaps, or qualification issuance are made solely by the relevant RTO in accordance with Australian vocational education and training regulations.

No Guarantee of Outcome

Campus Connect NSW RPL does not guarantee successful RPL assessment outcomes. Approval or rejection of an application is entirely at the discretion of the Registered Training Organisation conducting the assessment in line with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 and applicable Australian Government regulations.

While we may assist in submitting requests or communicating with an RTO on your behalf, any such request does not guarantee approval, reconsideration, or refund from the RTO.

Non-Refundable Fees

All consultancy and administrative service fees paid to Campus Connect NSW RPL are strictly non-refundable once services have commenced.

Refunds will not be provided in circumstances including, but not limited to:

  • Change of mind
  • Failure to provide sufficient evidence
  • RPL assessment deemed not competent
  • Delays caused by the RTO
  • Withdrawal after documentation preparation has begun
  • Ineligibility determined by the RTO
  • Cancellation or suspension decisions made by the RTO
  • Dissatisfaction with assessment outcomes

Our fees relate solely to consultancy and preparation services and are independent of the RTO’s assessment result.

RTO Fees and Refunds

Any fees payable directly to a Registered Training Organisation are governed by that RTO’s individual refund policy. Campus Connect NSW RPL does not control, manage, or guarantee RTO refund decisions.

If requested, we may assist by submitting a refund request to the RTO on your behalf; however, approval of any refund remains entirely at the RTO’s discretion and is not guaranteed.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If a service provided by Campus Connect NSW RPL is found to fail to meet consumer guarantees under the ACL, remedies will be provided as required by law.

However, dissatisfaction with an RTO’s assessment decision does not constitute a failure of service on our part, as we are not the assessing body.

Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and truthful documentation. Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in rejection of the application by the RTO. Campus Connect NSW RPL is not responsible for consequences arising from inaccurate information supplied by the client.
